I work with a person-centered, eclectic approach, where I can tailor the session experience to the unique needs of my clients. My main areas of focus have been in neurodiversity, the queer experience, student struggles, and the “coming of age” transitions into early adulthood. I consider myself feminist, affirmative, and culturally-sensitive in my work, and I continuously seek to remain educated on intersectionality and the interplay of marginalization and mental wellness.
My aim is to create a soft and grounded environment where clients feel safe to express themselves. With the values of acceptance, honesty, and authenticity as the rubric for my practice, I hope to show up for clients with a transparency that fosters trust in the relationship, opening the door for transformative healing.
I am offering coaching sessions to help clients expand their mental health knowledge and develop techniques to aid in daily functioning. That may look like adding coping or communication skills to their tool belt, or having discussions on how our lives can be impacted by mental health, and what manageable steps we can take to improve it.
